Goetz Phillip Körner, Tenor. Aus Lengerich (Westf.) stammend erhielt er 1997 seinen ersten Gesangsunterricht bei Dr. Scott S. Swope am Städtischen Konservatorium Osnabrück. Dem folgte ein Studium der Fächer Opernsolo und Gesangspädagogik an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover bei Prof. Dr. Peter Anton Ling, welches er 2008 abschloss.

Meisterkurse bei Christoph Prégardien, Irwin Gage, Aribert Reimann und Wolfgang Rihm sowie Privatstudien bei Prof. Charlotte Lehmann und David Lee Brewer runden seine Ausbildung ab. Szenisch war er bisher u.a. in den Mozart Opern „Bastien et Bastienne“ (Bastien) und „La finta semplice“ (Fracasso), in Händels „Belsazar“ (Belsazar), in Antonio Bibalos Oper „Fräulein Julie“ (Jean) an der Hamburgischen Staatsoper und zuletzt in einer Berliner Produktion von Händels „Acis and Galatea“ (Acis) zu sehen.

Als Solist hat er bereits mit zahlreichen Chören gearbeitet und konzertierte mitunter in der Berliner Philharmonie und der Alten Oper Frankfurt. Konzertreisen führten ihn unter anderem nach Japan, Süd-Korea, Weißrussland, Italien und Spanien. Außerdem singt er in Ensembles wie der SCHOLA HEIDELBERG und dem NDR Rundfunkchor. Konzertmitschnitte beim NDR, SR und HR. In der Spielzeit 2011/12 wird er erneut an der Staatsoper Hannover gastieren.

Goetz Phillip Körner, Tenor. Born in Lengerich (Westf.), Germany, Goetz Phillip Körner received his first singing lessons with Dr. Scott S. Swope at the Osnabrück conservatorium. After that he studied opera and singing education with Prof. Dr. Peter Anton Ling at the Hanover academy of music and theatre, which he completed in 2008.

He rounds up his master class education with Christoph Prégardien, Irwin Gage, Aribert Reimann and Wolfgang Rihm, as well as privat study with Prof. Charlotte Lehmann and David Lee Brewer. He has sung the title tenor roles in the Mozart operas „Bastien et Bastienne“ (Bastien) and „La finta semplice“ (Fracasso), in Handels „Belshazzar“ (Belshazzar) and „Acis and Galatea“ (Acis), in Antonio Bibalos opera „Frøken Julie“ (Jean) with the Hamburg state opera house and was last seen as Kunz Vogelgesang in „Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg“ by Richard Wagner.

As a solo artist he has worked with many choirs in oratorio and sacred works and occasionally is engaged at the Berliner Philharmonie and the Alte Oper Frankfurt. In addition he performs with the ensemble at SCHOLA HEIDELBERG and the NDR Broadcast choir. Solo concerts also took him to Japan, South Korea, Belarus, Italy and Spain. Mr. Körner can be heard in live recordings with the NDR, SR and HR Broadcast. He will again be seen as a guest performer at the operahouses of Hanovegerr in 2011/12.
